Right to Privacy

In the context of our services, we collect personal data from our customers, visitors to our websites, recipients of our newsletters, participants in conferences and events, persons who contact us by telephone and job applicants.

Processing of personal data

In some cases, we will share your identification and contact information with third parties, such as sponsors of an event you attend. We do this in order to be able to make you tailor-made offers and to put you in touch with parties related to the subject. Disclosure to third parties

We sometimes share your personal data with third parties, such as service providers we contract (e.g. IT service providers or marketing agencies), mailing houses, sponsors of a conference or event for which you register and advertisers.

In most cases, we share your personal data with third parties based in the European Economic Area (EEA). In some cases, we share your personal data with third parties based outside the EEA. In these cases, we will put in place appropriate safeguards to ensure that the personal data can be lawfully transferred.

Retention periods

Your personal data will not be stored for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data was collected and processed (as described in Section 5 above). Only if we are legally obliged to do so, or if this is necessary to defend our interests in court (e.g. in the event of a dispute), we will retain the personal data for longer periods.

Security of personal data

We have put in place the necessary administrative, technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the specific risks we have identified. We protect your personal data against destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of, or access to, personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed.

Furthermore, we try to ensure that we keep your personal data accurate and up-to-date. We therefore kindly ask you to inform us of any changes to your personal data (such as a change in your contact details).

Custom audiences

Vandevorm Use Facebook, Google and LinkedIn communication tools, specifically Facebook Custom Audiences, Facebook Lookalike Audiences, Google Customer Match and LinkedIn Matched Audiences. An irreversible and non-personal hash code is generated from your usage data, which is then transferred to Facebook, Google and LinkedIn for analysis and marketing purposes. For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection, further processing and use of the data, and your setting options for protecting your personal data, please refer to Facebook, Google and LinkedIn's data security guidelines. If you wish to object to the use of Facebook Custom Audiences, you can do so in Facebook's privacy settings. Google and LinkedIn users can manage the ads they see in Google services or LinkedIn in under their account on the respective platform.
